Remodelift, LLC ("Remodelift", "we") runs a free service that matches homeowners with independent local home improvement professionals. This policy explains what we collect, why, and who we share it with.
What we collect
- Your project details, such as the service you need, your ZIP code, the size and timing of the job, and your answers to our questions.
- Your contact details: your name, phone number and email address, and how you prefer to be contacted.
- Your consent: the exact wording you agreed to, the time you agreed, and the contact methods you chose.
- How you found us, such as the page you arrived on and campaign tags in the link (for example utm_source).
- Technical data needed to run and protect the site. We store your IP address and browser only as one-way coded values, used to stop spam and abuse.
How we use it
- To match your request with an independent professional who serves your ZIP code.
- To contact you about your request.
- To prevent fraud, spam and duplicate requests.
- To understand which pages and campaigns work, and to improve the service. We only send occasional home improvement emails if you opt in.
Who we share it with
When you ask for a quote, we share your project and contact details withone independent professional who serves your area, so they can contact you about that project using the methods you chose. We do not sell your details to a list of companies.
We also use service providers who handle data on our behalf, such as hosting, database, email and lead-delivery tools. We may disclose information when the law requires it.
Calls, texts and email
The professional may call, text or email you about your request, using the methods you chose. Message and data rates may apply. Agreeing is not a condition of any purchase. You can stop texts by replying STOP, and you can withdraw your consent at any time through ourcontact form.
How long we keep it
We keep request records for as long as we need them to provide the service, handle questions about a request, and meet legal and accounting obligations. Advertising click identifiers are deleted after 90 days.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information, or to stop contacting you, through our contact form. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
This service is for adult homeowners. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. We record which version of our consent wording you agreed to with your request.
